Acha Victory Akoh, known as V-Star, is a Dubai-based Cameroonian gospel rapper born on May 7, 1993, in Batibo-Momo Division, Cameroon. His stage name is derived from his birth name, Victory, reflecting the significance of God’s victory in his life.

V-Star developed a passion for music, particularly gospel rap, during his upbringing. Dissatisfied with the limited availability of gospel rap songs, he embarked on his own journey as a gospel rap artist. In 2015, he officially began his career, releasing his first EP titled “For Real” in 2017. Despite facing challenges in finding a suitable platform, V-Star persevered and remained committed to his vision as a gospel artist.

As a songwriter, V-Star draws inspiration from the purpose of the song, his personal experiences, and the nature of the beat. One of his favorite songs to minister is “Let’s go” from his EP “For Real.” He admires gospel artists such as Lecrae, Sevin, Frank Edwards, and Brian Trejo, who inspire his own music. V-Star is currently working on a new hit titled “We Up.”

In addition to his music career, V-Star is a skilled technician and a professional cook proficient in various aspects of food preparation.
