Melataguia Mafouo Ramses who is professionally known as Melataguia Mafouo Ramses is a Cameroonian artist who hails from the West region of Cameroon, though born in the North West Region of Cameroon where he spent almost 18 yrs while in process of primary and secondary education, the young guy already could marvel his mates with freestyles on hip hop instrumentals as well as vibe to already made tunes by music icons at the time.

In 2013, he moved to the capital city of Cameroon- Yaoundé after optaining his BACC (A4esp) to further his higher education at the University of Yaoundé 2(Soa).

 

Jekil who is a master degree holder at the Faculty of Law and Political Science craves in joining the position of extraordinary law specialists of his nation. But meanwhile, he keeps flaming the burning passion in him through his presence and participation in the 237 showbiz sphere.

 

Before setting out on music, he was a major fan of French and American Hip Hop music till the day he listened and fell in love with 237 Rapstar JOVI. The latter inspired him a lot and gave him the desire to become a great figure of 237 Rap Music. But like all the choices in life, this one presented itself with a lot of setbacks such as the impossibility of paying for a studio session and especially the promotion of his projects.

 

During these last years, he released few singles that really didnt make success, but recently, Jekil dropped a marvelous hit that saw his fan base increase thus making the journey promising and worth enduring titled #NANG ( kindly check on all legal downloads platforms)

We have to note that his first Extended play title EISODOS is online since November 2020 and his first ever studio album SELF MADE is out on all legal streaming platforms.

Agbor Zion Tha Great, a great Hip Hop talent inspired by Lil Wayne & 50 Cent!

Agbor started rapping/singing way back in his secondary school days, he had an exercise book where he usually writes down rhymes from songs, and verses of rappers like Lil wayne, 50 cent etc. but before taking music as a career, Zion who was nick-named “Deco” “Petit Robinho” by friends at that time, was a footballer who has played the Cameroon 2nd division & other national competitions alongside Kounde malon from Best Star Fc Limbe and Fai Collins at Longla comprehensive college Mankon, who now plays at the National team. Altho he had passion for football, he could no longer continue with his dreams of being a football star due to waist and knee injuries.

It is not until 2012 that Zion decided to take Music as a career, That was when he met Kedze Levis A.k.a “Ray Boi” who mentored and introduced him to the label “Gudlife Muzik Enter10ment.

Zion released his first official single #TalentJamboreeShow under the label in 2013 after being selected as one of the winners of the “Carlos Annual Arts Festival – Freshmen Talent Jamboree” at Hotel Residence Carlos. Phillbeats was the man behind the song’s instrumental and then recorded and Mastered by Slimbeats.

Since then he has so far released other tracks like; #NaSoTheWorldDey #RudeGial #HandzUp, #Survival etc.. All available on his YouTube Channel.

The singer-songwriter released his debut studio EP “The Avenue” in 2022, featuring 15 minutes of memorable singles including “Avenue”, “You are my type”, “Dola” and “Shadows”, placing De Manne as one of the missing jigsaws pieces the African popular music industry has been looking for.
