Nicki Minaj Beefs Kanye West and calls him clown for collaborating with Cardi B after turning down her request for a fashion Collab!

Nicki Minaj & Kanye have worked in collaboration multiple times over the past years, with their most renowned collab being on 2010’s “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”. Unfortunately, their collaborative relationship has also been marked by a series of unsuccessful collaborations not just within music itself.
Before with get into what really happened at the essence festival, let’s take a look at what caused issues between Nicki and Ye!
Nicki Minaj and Kanye West have worked together numerous times over the years, most notably on 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. But their creative relationship probably has also been marked by a string of failed collaborations — not just within music.
The “Anaconda” crooner sat down for a prolonged interview with Joe Budden in the month of March & she revealed she contacted Kanye about collaborating on a fashion project but Ye turned down her request out of respect for his then-wife, Kim Kardashian.
Nicki Minaj started by recalling how Fendi sales had gone up following her name dropping the brand on “Chun-Li” & subsequent deal in 2019, in a way to prove her influence in the fashion industry. She believed the example would be enough to convince Kanye to collaborate with her on her next collection.
“I told Kanye about my impact on Fendi’s sales. I was like, ‘Hey look, I’m about to do something and I just wanted to make sure I spoke to you first,’ because I have so much respect for him,” she said. “And he was like, ‘Well, if I did something with you, I think my wife probably wouldn’t love that idea because I should be giving that to my wife instead. If I was doing a female version of the Yeezys or whatever, it should probably go to my wife.’”
OKAY! So a few hours ago, Nicki Minaj cut the DJ while playing “Monster”, which is a collaboration with Kanye, at Essence Festival 2022.
she said “I don’t fuck with clowns”

Many are suggesting the reason is because Kanye is featured on Cardi B’s New Track “Hot shit”
